I don’t think I need to have any worries for Lynn and Jeff’s marriage because they’re never off the phone to each other when they’re not together and you can’t get a word in edge ways when they are together.
As with all fathers of little girls, when Lynn first brought Jeff home for the ‘family inspection’, I viewed him with great suspicion. But, over time, I have grown quite fond of him and while I had a tear in my eye today as I gave my beautiful daughter away, I also had a great feeling of pride. I was proud of the beautiful intelligent woman my little girl has become and I was also proud of her choice of man. And I hope that when God blesses you with children, that you do as good as job that (groom’s mothers name) and (Groom’s fathers name) and your mother and I have tried to do.....This is the end of the extract.
